This past year has been a rollercoaster. The items on the list only cover a small handful of what happened in the past year of America’s life, but even from this short list it is obvious that we are in times of both growth and pain.
If we see something that’s the matter, regardless of how big or small, it is important that we do what we can to try and fix it. As individuals, we may feel too small to play a meaningful role in any of the things that we’d want to see changed. But when we work together, each of our actions adds up and that’s how progress is made.
What will happen going forward as we enter into America’s 247th year of life? As always, there will be some curves in the road and some surprising twists. Similar to predictions for the stock market, no one has any idea what will happen. There are new uncertainties for our future that will test and challenge us in the years to come. They will be the defining mark on a new generation. Let’s do our part to create the progress we want to see.
