Maya is an actual real person and you can find her at @teach.kids.money . She is an ass kicker who took part in the PFC Business Circle, which was a cohort we hosted that consisted of 20 entrepreneurs. Our group was especially inspired by her!

As an immigrant growing up in poverty, Maya did the traditional thing and went to a good university, got good grades, a high-paying job, and a CPA designation that was paid for.

When she got married at 25, she and her husband had about $60K in debt from car and student loans. By living very frugally and prioritizing their financial well-being, seven years later, they were debt free and even paid off their mortgage.

For many years, Maya was investing with a financial advisor who was charging very high fees. She was afraid to invest on her own, and this fear cost her a LOT of money. Looking back she wished she knew about investing in index funds earlier. Maya truly believes that anyone can become financially successful if they have proper education, and she’s made it her mission to make this happen!

Maya has enough to be retired today, but enjoys working! She runs a successful business called the Wealthy Kids Club where she teaches children how to become financially independent adults and her Instagram account has 100K+ followers!
