The harder you try with investing, the less money you make

Here’s the truth about investing in the stock market: the harder you try, the less money you will end up with.

There are a lot of people who are following every move of the market and check their stocks more often than the weather. They trade often and think they can beat the market. But almost every single one of them ends up with returns that are far WORSE than they could have earned if they bought an index fund.

We have likely all done at least one or two items on this list. BUT it’s important to not just focus on the past and do your best moving forward. Keep your investing life simple. Buy low cost index funds and don’t sell until you retire. The more complicated you make it, the worse you will do.

p.s. Next week is “Learn to Invest” week! We will be posting every day with all the tools you need to invest like a champ! Comment “INVEST” below and we will send you a DM to sign up to get all PFC posts sent to your email!

As always, reminding you to build wealth by following the two PFC rules: 1.) Live below your means and 2.) Invest early and often.‎
