The S&P 500 just hit an all-time record high

The S&P 500 just hit a record high for the first time since January 2022! It’s been almost two years! (2023 was the first year since 2012 that the S&P 500 didn’t hit a record high.)

Whenever the market is at record highs, we hear a lot of people start to say things like, “I don’t want to invest now when the market is at a record high”.

WELL, if you could go back in time and invest at the record high in 2013, would you?? Of course you would because the market is up 274% since then (including dividends)!

Record highs are part of the investing journey. They are nothing to get scared of. They tell you little about what the market will do in the future. The best course of action is to keep investing every single month and let your wealth compound over time.
